“A local ensemble is putting the spotlight on an instrument much older than the violin: the human voice. D.C. a cappella group The Capital Hearings will perform this Saturday night at the First Congregational United Church of Christ. The ensemble will use songs by Lady Gaga, the Indigo Girls, Ingrid Michaelson and others to explore the ways technology impacts our lives. The 8 p.m. concert will also feature songwriter, vocalist and live looper Margot MacDonald.”
